Social Dance Night by Watwero Dance Initiative

Join us every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at Elephante Commons for Social Dance Night, an event designed to bring the community together through the joy of dance. Led by Monica from Latin Flavor Uganda, participants will learn the vibrant styles of salsa and kizomba in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The goal is to foster social interaction, promote physical activity, and enrich the cultural experiences of all attendees.

Each session starts with a dance lesson to help both beginners and experienced dancers hone their skills. Following the lessons, the floor opens up for free dancing, allowing participants to practice their new moves and enjoy the lively music. Occasionally, themed dance nights will add an extra layer of excitement, keeping the experience fresh and engaging.

Beyond dancing, Social Dance Night offers a designated social hour for mingling and building friendships. This event provides a perfect opportunity for community members to connect, have fun, and create lasting memories together. The fee for each session is 10,000 UGX, making it an affordable way to enjoy an evening of cultural enrichment, physical activity, and social connection.
